I know this is a piece of cake for many of you, but HOLY SMOKES!The quilt is rather small at 51 x 60, but there are 20 pages of pattern instructions. A Late Summer Quilt Finish from Quilty Folk

It feels so very, very good to finish up with this particular quilt: 'The Mountains Are calling'. Not only because there's been so few finishes for the year, but because it's really ran me through the whole gamut of emotions from feeling rather blasé about the idea until now, when I'm actually rather proud of the cozy, warm vibe to it. Who would have ever expected it to end up this way?

A Quilt Top Marathon from Quilty Folk

This past week or two found me spending quite a bit of time bringing a couple projects to quilt top stage. The first one 'The Mountains Are Calling', has been in the works for a long time. First, I cut out a whole lotta free-cut strips and started in on the back of the quilt.
